Efrain is a former Captain and a founding father of the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldog Soccer Program. An outstanding and crafty midfielder, he was an All-South Atlantic Conference performer at Gardner-Webb. Efrain was a member of the 1987 Teams USA Southeast that played in the Gothia Cup (Sweden), Dana Cup (Denmark), Holland Cup (Holland), and Minsk USSR. He has coached at various levels and is known for making the game fun with innovative teaching techniques. Efrain is an Associate of the world-famous Tahuichi Soccer Academy of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. He has had the pleasure of working with coaches from the National Team Staffs of Argentina, Trinidad & Tobago, Bolivia, and Ecuador. Efrain has worked with many successful college coaches and has been a staff member at various soccer camps including the Ralph Lundy Soccer Academy. Efrain holds the United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma.

Trainer

David is formerly an assistant men’s soccer coach at Gardner-Webb University. He is a native of Bangor, Northern Ireland and has played collegiate soccer at Brunel University in London, England as well as Mars Hill College. He has also received representative honors for both County Down and County Middlesex Football Associations in the United Kingdom. During the 2008-2009 season, David took on the position of assistant coach at Mars Hill College and helping them to the South Atlantic Conference Championship Final for the first time in 10 years. David has coached for the Greater Cleveland County Soccer Association (GCCSA) Cobra’s and Carolina Rapids. David has a Master’s degree in Sports Science and Pedagogy from Gardner-Webb University and is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA- CSCS).
